Data Deletion Policy

Your Right to Delete
At Ghar Se, we believe you own your data. You have the right to request complete deletion of all your personal data from our systems at any time. This is in compliance with GDPR and Pakistan's data protection regulations.
What Gets Deleted
When you request data deletion, the following information is permanently and irreversibly removed:
- Account Information: Name, email, phone number, password hash
- KYC Documents: Government ID details, photos, verification status
- Ride History: All past rides, routes, fares, and ratings
- Delivery Orders: All past orders, addresses, and payment details
- Wallet Data: Balance, transaction history, referral bonuses
- Session Tokens: All active login sessions (you'll be logged out)
- Analytics Data: Usage patterns and device information
How It Works

Request
Go to Data Deletion page in the app and submit your request with a reason.

Review Period
Your request enters a 30-day review period during which you may cancel it.

Admin Approval
Our admin team reviews and approves the deletion request.

Permanent Wipe
All your data is permanently deleted from Firebase Realtime Database.
Important Notes
- Irreversible: Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account to use our services again.
- 30-Day Grace Period: You can cancel your deletion request within 30 days by logging in and visiting the Data Deletion page.
- Legal Obligations: We may retain certain data if required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
- Effect on Referrals: Your referral bonuses earned by others will remain, but your referral code will be deactivated.
- Driver/Shopkeeper Data: If you are a driver or shopkeeper, certain transaction records may be retained for legal compliance.
How to Request Deletion
Open the Ghar Se app, go to Profile → Data Deletion, fill in the reason, and submit. You can also contact our support team at privacy@gharseapp.com.
Data We Cannot Delete
Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot be traced back to you may be retained for analytical purposes. This does not include any personal identifying information.
